Why do we love this wine?
An elixir of tropical fruit and punchy citrus out of the gate. This is ready to go - piercing acidity wrapped in creamy, nutty richness and ripe fruit flavours. As classic as Margs chardy gets, to be honest. The balance is quite something; brightness, richness, and fruit density are all in synchronised step here. It has all the expected Margaret River opulence but there is a nervy minerality or vein of steely acidity running through it which is quite flashy and finessed. The finish is packed full of grunt, its full bodied from go to whoa, and we love it for that. A powerful West Australian to be sure, they build 'em different over there.
