Why do we love this wine?
Black fruit out of the gate: dark and distinct, powerful and rich. Heathcote has a knack for marrying bold fruit flavours on a finer-boned structure (than say, Barossa Valley) - this is a great example of that. The result is finessed and elegant without tipping into the realm of wishy washy.
