Why do we love this wine?
It's one thing to hold this fancy bottle, feeling like a baller as you cut through the wax to get to the cork. It's another thing altogether to taste a glass of this perfectly aged (a full decade!) cabernet and experience the complexity. Plums, chocolate, cedar and smokey game are all on the nose and the palate is pure velvet with a finish of licorice and leather. This is wine to ponder, whether in front of a fire or with mates around the dinner table.
