Why do we love this case?
Psst, you there! Yeah you! Stop looking around, you’re acting suspicious. You’re here for the Black Market wines, aren’t you? Yeah, that’s this box here. Don’t worry they’re all 100% legit, we’re just doing our winemaker mates a favour by not shouting their names from the rooftops. 2x Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
South Australia — Australia
This producer is a legend in the industry and every drop they release never fails to satisfy – from classic varieties to more experimental blends, there’s always a special touch to these wines. Jam-packed with wild berries, juicy blackcurrants, lush dark chocolate, a splash of mint and a memorable, firm finish - this is an elegant Shiraz that doesn’t ask for your attention, rather it commands it.
You’d pay $19 full price.

2x Shiraz 2020
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
Like a good book, wine is not all about what’s on the cover. But we have to say, when you’re getting great vino in some super sleek packaging, it’s a big bonus. This is the Barossa classic with a modern edge. Fruit-driven and rich, it hits every corner of your palate with pleasing intensity. The oak-imparted tannins make for a ripper time with some charred meat or veg, perfect for that easy weeknight in.
You’d pay $30 full price.

2x Cabernet Blend 2021
Red — Cabernet Blend
Coonawarra — Australia
If you know Coonawarra, we bet you know the makers behind this wine. Each of their wines ooze with sophistication and skill. This is a soaring blend of shiraz and cabernet -a classically Aussie blend we should note- that provides supple jubey fruits in equal measures as fine tannins, vibrant freshness, and a velvety smooth finish. You’ll find yourself reaching for a bottle of this without hesitation, whatever the occasion.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Pinot Grigio 2022
White — Pinot Grigio
South Australia — Australia
We love us some bright, fresh and vibrant grigio here at the ‘Fo. And this one hits all those notes. There’s pear and green apple in spades and wonderfully balanced acidity to cleanse the palate. Nothing pairs better with lunch on the deck than a wine just like this. It doesn’t need to be any more complicated than that.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Sauvignon Blanc 2022
White — Sauvignon Blanc
King Valley — Australia
Like the exotic? Feeling adventurous? We hear ya, we all feel like a tropical break this time of year, but no need to head to a far-flung destination for your next break. This savvy b takes you on quite the journey. Whilst we can’t promise white beaches, diamond seas and never-ending Vitamin D intake, we can promise tropical flavours of passionfruit, lychee and a pinch of lime. Clean, crisp and refreshing, this would go particularly well with mussels or any seafood dish, just to solidify the beachy feels of this sauvignon blanc.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Chardonnay 2021
White — Chardonnay
Pemberton — Australia
We love us a bit of Margaret River chardy, and we’re certainly not alone in that. If you’re like us, you love them even more when they’re classic and dripping with terroir. This ticks all the boxes. It has the developed melon and peach characteristic we’ve come to love, a touch of toffee, and a bit of burnt pineapple (you know, like on your pizza). That fruit generosity is laid over green apple and green pear nuance, expertly wrapped up in some seamlessly integrated oak. This is awesome chardy that’s punching way above its price tag.
You’d pay $22 full price.

What is a Black Market deal?
Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article – absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
