2x Shiraz 2019
Red — Shiraz
Clare Valley — Australia
If you were hanging out in South Australia in the 1880’s, you’d know Pikes for their beers. Fast forward 100 years and and several generations and the Pike family has firmly established themselves as one of the premier wine producers in the Clare Valley. Hops and grapevines, a rather abstract take on the tradition family tree. Their Settler’s Cottage shiraz speaks loudly of the Clare style; bracingly fresh, with aromas turned up to full volume and strikingly fine tannins. This is savoury, sumptuous superb shiraz.
You’d pay $40 full price.

2x Shiraz 2017
Red — Shiraz
Langhorne Creek — Australia
This name might be new to some, but their contributions to the wine industry have pre-dated many. In fact, they’ve been making the wines for many big name South Australian wineries for decades. Walk into their cellar door right on the border of McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills, and you’ll never want to leave. You'll be captured with their cellar reserve wines, the way that the plush fruit balanced so well with the savoury edges. There is no occasion that this wine doesn’t fit. Luckily for us, the same applies to the company of the Watkins family themselves. Cheers to you, legends!
You’d pay $35 full price.

2x Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Margaret River — Australia
A medium-bodied Shiraz bursting with red berries and plum. The nose is floral — violets, jasmine, and a flicker of black pepper. The palate follows through with spiced plum, raspberry, and cherry. Silky, aromatic, and finely tuned. A standout expression from Margaret River’s northern edge.
You’d pay $32 full price.

2x Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
Red — Cabernet Sauvignon
Limestone Coast — Australia
South Australia’s Limestone Coast is not quite as famous as a few neighbouring regions, and as a result the value to be found there is staggering. At this price, get set for your mind to be blown. It’s got the trademark florality of your classic coonawarra cabs, although we’re talking more intense black forest fruits and pepper rather than your typical violets and berries. If you're anything like us, you'll be astounded at the value here.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Padthaway — Australia
Jam-packed with stewed fruit, chocolate and liquorice. Ripe and delicious flavour that packs a real punch is carried on the back of bright acidity, lifting blackberries, bramble, black cherry and prosciutto notes alike to a long and delectable finish. If you're looking for something to share with the family over Sunday lunch, this is the wine for you - versatile, universally adored, and damn-right delicious.
You’d pay $20 full price.

2x Shiraz 2022
Red — Shiraz
Southern Fleurieu — Australia
Another single-vineyard stunner from this crew. It was pretty hard not to make amazing wine in 2022, this is no exception. Full-bodied and powerful but soft in all the right places. A classic Australian shiraz with a long life ahead of it and great pedigree behind it.
You’d pay $20 full price.
