2x Shiraz 2021
Red — Shiraz
Barossa — Australia
These guys are getting to be a favourite of ours, with firmly fruited reds. This particular range is ridiculous good value and we’re glad to have gotten our hands on some of the shiraz from the cracking 2021 vintage. Although it’s their “entry level” range, this wine still sees a year in French oak and is already walking and talking Barossa shiraz. Dark cherry, vanilla and cocoa bound from the glass, then comes the full body, laden with fruit and spice. Chewy tannins add to the structure and the finish is full of puckering plums.
You’d pay $27 full price.

2x Shiraz 2018
Red — Shiraz
Adelaide Hills — Australia
This shiraz is brimming with bright, jubey fruit notes underscored by star anise and fennel savouriness. Supple and smooth, indulgent and opulent. Lashings of vanilla and raspberry coulis, cocoa and coffee; this sit's squarely in your 'easy going' category, but there's nothing simple or one dimensional about it - there's plenty on offer for anyone who wants to dive in.
You’d pay $25 full price.

2x Shiraz 2018
Red — Shiraz
Yarra Valley — Australia
An all-singing, all-dancing celebration of fruit. Shiraz from the cooler regions of the Yarra Valley with a neatly assembled bouquet of raspberry, red cherry, and juicy black currant. The fruit is focused and complete and pure in its expression. The ripe aromatic profile is supported by a bit of gamey decay, some brittle leaves and delicate dried flower. Shapely and full in the mouth - the tannic profile has relaxed a little but still offers structure and a bit of welcome rigidity. Fresh and vibrant and extremely approachable - this wine is smack bang in the middle of it’s drinking window
You’d pay $32 full price.

What is a Black Market deal?
Black Market deals are only made possible if we don’t reveal the maker’s brand on site. The wines are the genuine article – absolutely no cleanskins or fake brands, just dangerously good value. You won’t find out what it is until it hits your doorstep, but you won’t regret it. Just keep it on the down low.
