Why do we love this wine?
2020 was a warm(ish), tight-fisted vintage that squeezed concentration and structure into everything it touched. The winemaking is restrained and deliberate - which is exactly how the wine tastes. In the glass it's sleek and focused. Stone fruit, pawpaw, green pineapple and Granny Smith keep things bright, while nashi pear, lemon tart and a whisper of nougat add some quiet complexity underneath. The texture is creamy without getting sloppy and the finish keeps going long after you've put the glass down.
