Why do we love this wine?
In 2020, 40 ancient grenache blanc bush vines, towering 10 feet tall and tucked away along the Para River, were rescued from neglect. No winemaker wanted them. Until now. This gorgeous aromatic wine is a pure, savoury white made without additions, aged on lees in old barrels, and bottled. The result: Zesty lemon and white florals on the nose, a rich, textured mid-palate, and a saline, moreish finish. It’s a dry white that speaks fluently of Barossa’s overlooked heritage. Try it with roast chicken or a wedge of aged cheese - we dare you!
