Why do we love this wine?
The Tapanappa Tiers Vineyard chardonnay is about as obsessive as winemaking gets. The vineyard itself, planted by Brian Croser in 1979, is about as Burgundian as they come in Australia. Planted to incredible chardy vines, the fruit of this block is downright exceptional. Generosity of flavour and fruit matched with a no-mucking-about oak regime makes for one knockout glass that will leave you genuinely speechless. If you like your chardy with plenty of body and flavour, get a bottle of this and make it your fancy-pants chardonnay to put away for the perfect moment.
