Why do we love this wine?
The schonburger grape is a hybrid white that's particularly well known for it's aromatic lift and gorgeous texture. Yes, they make sparkling wine with it in the UK, but that's not the grape's fault! This is schonburger in its best form, musk, rosewater and floral lift leaping from the glass. The palate is lush and fleshy, brimming with juicy fruit sweetness, but reined in beautifully by a fine phenolic edge that gives shape and balance.If you’re into gewürztraminer, you’ll be right at home here. It’s aromatic, characterful and made for food - especially anything with an Asian vibe. Think chilli, ginger, lemongrass - this wine sings alongside bold flavours - could we finally have found the wine to drink with curry!?
