From a top Tassie winemaker who's been diligently winning hearts (and awards) all over the county for the past decade or so - this is Pinot Gris, done with delicacy and dedication. And it's absolutely wonderful to drink!

Why do we love this wine?
Mouth-filling and with an impressive amount of intensity, this terrific vintage is so quintessentially Tasmanian and so quintessentially Pinot Gris that you’d pick this in a blind tasting nine times out of ten. What it does need is a spot on your table - ideally next to some seafood or a few moreish Italian starters - and a few friends to bask in its glory. You'll love the clean, fruitful palate and the succulent peach and citrus aromas - almost as much as you'll love the loooooong, fruit-forward finish.

Fresh and floral. Pale straw. Pear, citrus blossom and honeysuckle, then lemon-lime at the edge. The mid-palate has that honeysuckle sweetness, a mineral line running under it, lemon-lime keeping it taut. Clean, lingering finish. 95 points. ★★★★★ Fresh, floral Tassie Gris with honeysuckle mid-palate and a mineral, lemon-lime edge.

Ken Gargett
Lemon/gold in colour, this is quite powerfully flavoured for a Pinot Gris. There are notes of stewed pears, lemon curd, citrus and a touch of apricot skins. Good concentration throughout and the wine is given energy and life by the ever-present juicy acidity. Quite delicious and it offers an extra level of complexity to almost any other Pinot Gris in this country. There is serious length and good balance, and the wine should continue to excite for at least the next six to eight years.
