Why do we love this wine?
There’s a quiet revolution happening in Beechworth - and it smells like baked pear, honeysuckle and spice. roussanne’s having a moment, and this particular number is showing us why. From vines rooted deep in decomposed granite, this hand-picked beauty nails that beautiful balance between richness and zing. Think floral perfume and a clean line of acidity that keeps it fresh. The palate is dense, beeswaxy and long, with a gingery kick that hums right to the finish. This is white wine with substance - complex, generous, a little wild around the edges, and all the better for it. Beechworth winemakers are backing Roussanne for a reason. Taste this and you’ll get it.
