Why do we love this wine?
From the first pour, this wine is all charm and character. The nose is lifted and aromatic - think red apple, musk stick, a bay leaf twist and just a flicker of cardamom. The palate brings ripe pear, white nectarine and a gentle spice, wrapped up in creamy texture and fresh acidity that drives through to a long, flavoursome finish. It’s a clever mix of techniques in the winery - cool night harvesting, some barrel ferment for texture, some stainless for vibrancy, all pulled together for a wine that hits that fine balance of freshness and complexity. An easy weeknight pour, but with enough intrigue to hold your attention through a long lunch too.
