Fresh and clean but nonetheless textural and weighty on the palate. A bouquet of citrus, acacia blossoms and flinty mineral aromatics blend with flinty mineral notes and introduces a tightly structured palate of peach, lemon curd and vaguely tropical fruit. The real hero of this wine is the texture, mineral and phenolic whilst still coating the entire palate and building to a long, moreish finish. A wine to get the brain going, there's plenty to think about and plenty to discover. Whether your a casual chardy drinker with a penchant for the finer things or an analytic South African wine expert, you will love this wine. This wine has the potential to age for a very long time but we suggest drinking now, at some point Da Vinci had to put down the brush and just enjoy the Mona Lisa for what it was - a masterpiece.
