If you want great wine, you go to Ben Riggs. That's what most of McLaren Vale and surrounds would tell you, too. We pleaded for a small parcel of chardy, and we weren't disappointed with the result.

Why do we love this wine?
There's a very limited amount of chardy floating around the Adelaide Hills at the moment (and, in a lot of Australia for that matter), so we weren't holding our breath when we asked our Mofo favourite producer Mr Riggs for some. Sure enough, he managed to wrangle a small parcel to deliver us this unbelievably good drop. Saline and citrus driven, with a smattering of vanilla and nuts from some time in seasoned oak. You'd be surprised at how easily this drinks now, but will guarantee a few years of pleasure-filled drinking to come.
