Long before Lone Star Creek began producing their own wines, they were supplying grapes to some of the Yarra Valley's heaviest hitters. It's this intricate understanding of the land, climate and conditions that allows for the production of wines like this: structural and robust, with a clean, zippy acid line and a lovely rich fruit. A regionally expressive drop with tasting notes that read almost like an Upper Yarra cliché, pear, apple, spice and grapefruit. Mouth-coating and robust but with a spicy, chalky finish. Balanced and beautiful and best of all, ready to drink.
