Why do we love this wine?
Planted in 1968, this vineyard between Malmesbury and Darling is over 50 years old. The iron and clay rich soils enable a striking display of aromatics in the form of fresh flowers and stone fruits plus some leesy complexity and spice. The palate is rich and relatively thick textured – great depth of flavour with a gently savoury finish.
