Why do we love this wine?
The nose is bright and inviting - ripe orchard fruits, white peach, fig and floral lift, layered with that classic regional cashew, struck flint and a hint of oak vanillin. The palate is complex yet finely balanced: stone fruit depth, a touch of nuttiness, and beautifully judged oak, all carried by a line of taut acidity. It finishes tight and long, with a line of citrus and mineral drive that lingers. Still youthful now, this gorgeous chardonnay will continue to evolve gracefully over the next 4-5 years, revealing even greater depth and complexity with time. Or you could just drink it... it's looking good already.
