This is the work of a small, boutique producer with a serious cult following. Some malolactic work gives richness and fullness to what is otherwise a focused, piercing iteration of Australia's favourite grape: chardonnay. As any good chardonnay should be, this one's all about balance.

Why do we love this wine?
Green apple and pear initially, with focused, laser-like citrus acidity that races up the centre of the palate. Some nutty, mealy, biscuity savoury notes chime in just after and offer another dimension to the wine. This is a beautiful expression of fruit - lifted and aromatic and tantalisingly refreshing. Seriously limited wine from an already small producer - get in quick or miss out.
