Why do we love this wine?
Poached pear, nectarine and grapefruit pith on the nose, with a creamy lees-driven texture underneath that adds weight without ever losing the wine's natural freshness. The acidity is bright and persistent, the oak is present but well-integrated, and the finish has a length and grip that tells you there's more to come with a little time in the cellar. Drink it now with something off the grill or sit on it for a few years and watch it open up into something even more complex. Either way, this is seriously good value for Margaret River chardonnay at this level and, to be honest, it's a bit of a no-brainer.
