Why do we love this wine?
Having grown up amongst the vines in a renowned WA wine family, this is not all about fluff, here is a wine that shines through in sheer quality. The fruit is sourced from one of the best vineyards in the Wilyabrup sub-region, making for a top quality chardonnay that foreshadows the greatness ahead for this winemaker. It’s flinty and fruity, minerally and bright, luscious and tense all at the same time. Pineapple and grapefruit citrus abound, there’s a creamy undertone and the oak is present but not intrusive. In a few years, you can claim to be one of the few who tasted the first vintage of a wine that is going to sit amongst Margaret River’s most revered chardonnays.
