This is well made wine. It comes out of a winery with a wealth of knowledge about wine, yes, but also an unrivalled understanding of the Margaret River region. They have married opulence and panache with gun-barrel straight acidity that drives straight down the palate. The sheer breadth of the wine is something to behold, it has enormous presence on the palate; a complete and satisfying iteration of Margaret River's foremost varietal. This is a special occasion wine at a 'let's crack a bottle mid-week' price.
