Why do we love this wine?
This is what great Margaret River Chardonnay does with time. The primary fruit has deepened and settled into something far more complex and compelling than it ever was in its youth. White pear, yellow peach and grapefruit on the nose, layered with toasted brioche, creamy nutty oak and a mineral precision that gives it a focus and drive that's genuinely impressive. The palate is rich and structured, with a tense acidity running through a long, creamy finish that just won't let go.
