Why do we love this wine?
A 2018 Chardonnay that is absolutely ready to drink, but this will cellar well and truly into the next decade. Bright and tropical citrus; grapefruit, lemon flesh, melons - the acid is so peppy it's almost searing, but there is enough weight in the wine to mop the raciness up and deliver it purposefully in the finish. Rich and delicious but still precise and piercing. A perfect six-pack for anyone who prescribes to the 'drink-half/hold-half' school of cellaring. Another very limited release for our mofos- we snapped up everything we could get our hands on, but that wasn't much.
