Blanc de Blanc is just a fancy way of saying your sparkling wine is made purely from white grapes. And there's no better white grape for bubbles than chardonnay. Just ask the Champenois.

Don't worry, try one of these

Why do we love this wine?

Twin Valleys sourced chardonnay from a single vineyard in Moyhu, a gorgeous little spot in the King Valley that always delivers the goods. This is elegant and engaging, offering up green apple, jasmine, brioche, hazelnut and waves of citrus. But don't look past the mouthfeel, starting with a very fine bead and rolling into a creamy palate and lingering vibrancy from the citrusy acid.

Wine Orbit

Wine Orbit

Exquisitely fine and elegantly fragrant with white flesh stone fruit, lemon pith, crunchy apple and acacia aromas on the nose. The palate is concentrated and persistent with refined texture and beautifully pitched acidity, finishing impressively long and linear.

Wine Pilot

This is from the Twin Valleys Single Site Reserve range, from the King Valley River vineyard. A fine and elegant blanc de blancs style, neatly balanced and with appealing persistence. The colour is a very pale yellow. The nose weaves through gentle hints of brioche and nuts, lemons, citrus and more, but it is the pears, riverstones and mineral backing which dominate here. Crisp, clean and bright, the freshness is appealing. A refined and refreshing style, this will provide impressive drinking over the next two to three years.

Frequently Asked Questions

This Twin Valleys Blanc de Blancs stands out through its single-vineyard sourcing from Moyhu in King Valley, which provides exceptional terroir expression. The traditional method production creates complex brioche and hazelnut notes from extended lees contact, while the cool-climate Chardonnay delivers pristine citrus acidity. The combination of elegant bubbles and creamy texture demonstrates the producer's mastery of classic Champagne techniques in an Australian context.

King Valley's high altitude and cool climate create perfect conditions for sparkling wine production, allowing Chardonnay grapes to retain crucial acidity while developing complex flavors. The region's diurnal temperature variation helps preserve the delicate aromatics essential for quality Blanc de Blancs. Moyhu's specific microclimate within King Valley is particularly renowned for producing Chardonnay with the perfect balance of ripeness and freshness needed for premium sparkling wine.

The wine's brioche and hazelnut complexity makes it exceptional with creamy cheeses, oysters, and lobster dishes. Its citrus-driven acidity cuts through rich foods like smoked salmon or chicken in cream sauce, while the fine bubbles cleanse the palate. The jasmine aromatics and green apple notes also complement Asian cuisine, particularly dishes with ginger or light spice, making it more versatile than many sparkling wines.

Serve chilled at 6-8°C in flute or tulip glasses to preserve the fine bead and concentrate the delicate aromatics. Store bottles horizontally in a cool, dark place away from vibration to maintain the wine's integrity. As an NV (non-vintage) blend, it's designed for immediate enjoyment but can develop additional complexity over 2-3 years if properly cellared, allowing the brioche notes to become more pronounced.

Dual 95-point scores from Wine Showcase and Wine Orbit indicate exceptional quality that rivals premium Champagne at this price point. These ratings reflect the wine's technical excellence in bubble integration, flavor complexity, and structural balance. The consistency across multiple prestigious wine publications suggests this represents outstanding value, particularly given the single-vineyard sourcing and traditional production methods that typically command much higher prices.
