This comes from the Kreglinger block in Piper’s Brook where the fruit is grown specifically for sparkling wine production. Everything, from grape to glass, is handled carefully and purposefully to deliver a pure expression of cool-climate sparkling wine. And what an expression it is. 

Seeing up to 18m bottle ageing, you can expect the whole gamut of flavour; the aromas range from lemon curd, jasmine and honey to toasty almond depths. It’s plentiful, persistent and full on the palate where honey, pear and yeasty notes play a balancing act with the honeyed spice and fresh acidity. The finish is a thing of beauty that we cannot ignore: oh, so very creamy. What did we ever do without you, Kreglinger?!
