Nothing speaks to celebration quite like Prosecco - it is energetic, bubbly (of course), and overflowing with joy.

Why do we love this wine?

A well-balanced, fresh and fruity sparkling, this vino comes with notes of lemons and apples and is a guaranteed winner once the warmer months roll round (or, for the fizz-diehards, through the cooler months too). It comes from a really exciting producer and fun fact, the property was used as a military base during WWII and the wells in which machine guns were hidden still remain. And to be fair, if they keep churning out quality prosecco like this, it may take a fortress to keep thirsty prosecco-lovers out of the building.

Very good prosecco, squeezing ripe autumnal fruits into a tightly wound lattice of persistent froth and gentle acidity, herbal and alpine of lift, defining poise and an attractive delicacy. While Brut, this comes across as inordinately dry, tight and savory, without any sense of being abstemious. Very good drinking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG represents the premium tier of Italian sparkling wine, produced in the prestigious hillside vineyards of Asolo in Veneto. Unlike standard Prosecco DOC, the DOCG classification requires stricter production standards, lower yields, and hand-harvesting from specific vineyard sites. The elevated terrain and cooler climate of Asolo create more complex flavour profiles with enhanced minerality and longer-lasting bubbles, making it a more refined expression than typical supermarket prosecco.

The exceptional 96-point rating from Prosecco Masters reflects this wine's outstanding balance of freshness, fruit intensity, and technical precision. Gold medals from multiple competitions including CWSA demonstrate consistent quality recognition across different judging panels. The high scores indicate superior winemaking techniques, optimal grape selection, and the distinctive terroir of Asolo, which produces proseccos with more complexity and elegance than mass-market alternatives.

The bright citrus and crisp apple notes make this prosecco incredibly versatile for food pairing, particularly excelling with seafood dishes like oysters, prawns, or fish carpaccio. The fine bubbles and clean acidity cut through rich foods beautifully, making it perfect with creamy pasta dishes or soft cheeses. For casual entertaining, pair it with antipasti featuring olives, cured meats, and fresh mozzarella, or serve as an aperitif with light canapés to showcase its elegant fruit character.

NV stands for 'Non-Vintage', meaning this prosecco is blended from grapes harvested across multiple years to achieve a consistent house style. This approach allows Giusti to maintain their signature flavour profile of fresh lemons and apples regardless of individual vintage variations. Non-vintage proseccos are designed for immediate enjoyment and represent the producer's benchmark style, ensuring every bottle delivers the same quality experience that earned those impressive competition medals.

Serve this prosecco well-chilled at 6-8°C in flute or tulip glasses to preserve the fine bubbles and concentrate the delicate apple and lemon aromas. Store bottles on their side in a cool, dark place away from temperature fluctuations, and consume within 1-2 years of purchase to enjoy peak freshness. Once opened, use a proper sparkling wine stopper and refrigerate - the wine will maintain its effervescence for 2-3 days, though the vibrant fruit flavours are best enjoyed immediately.
