Why do we love this wine?
Old-vine grenache brings the pretty stuff: strawberries, peach skin, rose water and a hint of mint. Mataro steps in with a savoury edge - a touch of earth, spice and that slightly grapey, grown-up texture that stops this from being just another pink thirst-quencher (yes we understand the irony of describing a wine as "grapey", but here we are). There’s freshness, there’s body, and there’s a dry, savoury finish that makes food suddenly seem like a very good idea.
