Yeah, this one's right in the pocket. Dry and refreshing with subtle fruit weight and a lingering, acid driven finish. Best enjoyed in the sun, but we can confirm it still goes alright at your desk at about 4:30pm on a Friday...

Don't worry, try one of these

Why do we love this wine?

It's simply a fact, whatever the variety, really good winemakers make really good wine, and the crew behind this label are certainly very good winemakers... you see where we're going with this, blah blah blah very good wine (honestly though). Crushed red fruit, bright raspberry acidity and a grapefruit-like, citrus undertone. Drinkers of rosé, in any form, will find something to love about this flirty little number. Light, bright and unbelievably thirst quenching, this one goes down all-too-easily after a bit of hard yakka. A glass of this whilst mowing the lawn is about as good a match as we can come up with.

Frequently Asked Questions

This Barossa rosé showcases the region's exceptional winemaking expertise, combining the valley's warm climate with skilled craftsmanship to create a wine with distinctive grapefruit-citrus undertones alongside classic red fruit flavours. The Barossa's reputation for producing world-class wines extends beyond its famous reds, with producers applying the same meticulous attention to their rosé production. The result is a more complex and structured rosé than many lighter styles from cooler regions.

Serve this rosé well-chilled at 6-8°C to enhance its bright raspberry acidity and citrus characteristics. The wine's light-bodied, thirst-quenching nature makes it perfect for outdoor occasions, casual dining, or as an aperitif. Its fresh, juicy style pairs beautifully with summer salads, seafood, or light Mediterranean dishes, though it's equally enjoyable on its own during warm afternoons.

While this wine's specific varietal composition isn't disclosed, Australian rosés commonly feature Grenache, Shiraz, Pinot Noir, or Sangiovese grapes. The raspberry and rose petal flavours suggest possible Grenache influence, while the spice notes could indicate Shiraz inclusion. Australian winemakers often blend varieties to achieve the perfect balance of fruit intensity, acidity, and aromatic complexity that defines premium rosé.

The 2024 vintage represents the wine at its absolute peak freshness, capturing the vibrant fruit flavours and crisp acidity that make rosé so appealing. Rosé wines are generally best consumed within 1-2 years of vintage to preserve their bright, youthful character and prevent oxidation. This current vintage ensures you're experiencing the wine exactly as the winemaker intended, with all its fresh raspberry and citrus notes intact.

The 'Dangerous Value' rating of 90 points indicates this rosé delivers exceptional quality at a price point that significantly undercuts comparable wines in the market. This rating suggests the wine punches well above its weight class, offering boutique-level winemaking and flavour complexity at a fraction of the typical cost. For consumers, it represents an opportunity to experience premium Barossa winemaking without the premium price tag.
