This gorgeous thing only has one problem - it's impossible to put down. To call it 'moreish' would be a disservice to both the wine and the english language itself. It's completely irresistible. Subtle tinges of white strawberry, white peach and nectarine give it a good go, but it's really all about that gorgeous refreshing acid, and crisp, dry finish.

Why do we love this wine?

This isn't just any old winemaker, this is one of the best game, one of the legends, genuinely one of the greatest winemakers in Australia. We’re talking some premo Adelaide Hills fruit here, not something that comes along cheap. And then add the finess that it sees in the winery, it’s almost mind boggling what you’ll pick this wine up for. The tangy acidity always keeping things fresh, fun, and playful. After all, if you’re not having fun with rosé in hand then are you really having fun?

Frequently Asked Questions

This rosé comes from one of Australia's most respected winemakers using premium Adelaide Hills fruit, which is known for its cool climate and exceptional quality. The Adelaide Hills region produces some of Australia's finest rosé due to its elevation and temperature variations that preserve natural acidity. Unlike mass-produced rosés, this is a small batch wine with careful winemaking that showcases the finesse and attention to detail you'd expect from a legendary producer.

Adelaide Hills is one of Australia's premier cool climate regions, sitting at higher elevations that create ideal conditions for rosé production. The cooler temperatures allow grapes to ripen slowly while retaining vibrant natural acidity, which is crucial for creating that fresh, tangy character that makes great rosé so refreshing. This region consistently produces fruit with excellent flavour concentration and the bright acidity that keeps rosé lively and food-friendly.

The cherry, citrus and strawberry flavours combined with tangy acidity make this rosé incredibly versatile with food. It's perfect with fresh seafood like prawns or salmon, Mediterranean dishes with herbs and olive oil, or Asian cuisine where the acidity cuts through spice. The light body and crisp style also complement charcuterie, goat's cheese, and summer salads beautifully.

Serve this rosé well-chilled at around 8-10°C to showcase its fresh, vibrant character and crisp acidity. As a 2024 vintage, it's designed to be enjoyed while young and fresh, ideally within 12-18 months of release to capture its peak fruit flavours. Store it in a cool, dark place and once opened, keep refrigerated and consume within 2-3 days to maintain its lively, playful character.

Small batch production allows winemakers to have much greater control over every aspect of the winemaking process, from grape selection to fermentation management. This hands-on approach means the winemaker can make adjustments based on how the wine is developing, rather than following a standardised industrial process. The result is typically more distinctive, characterful wines that reflect both the vineyard site and the winemaker's skill and vision.
