This wine reminds us, yet again, why Wolf Blass is the biggest Australian winery in the world. High-octane, high-quality, highly-rated. A balance of power and precision with a focus on big fruit and big mouthfeel, this is what the Australian classic cab/shiraz blend is meant to taste like.

Why do we love this wine?

As powerful and delicious as it is legendary, we were re-introduced to this irresistibly drinkable iconic Australian blend at the tasting bench recently. We were humbled, and reminded once again of exactly what made this fine brand the leader it is today. Intense black fruits and spicy plums on the nose, it’s rich, concentrated and complex on the palate, with layers of liquorice and chocolate woven into the fruits. Power and elegance. Outstanding.

Ray Jordan

Langhorne Creek has been a key part of the Blass style from the time Blass the man himself started his first blends in the early 70s. The smooth supple elegance of the region is perfectly imparted on the palate while the ever so faint leafiness on the nose is a distinct regional character. It all comes together beautifully in a harmonious integrated wine.
