Why do we love this wine?
Whole bunch inclusion and older oak maturation keep the fruit front and centre - bright and expressive rather than buried under wood - and the result is a Shiraz that has both power and energy in equal measure. Red and blue fruits, white pepper and a crunchy brightness on the nose that draws you straight in. The palate delivers layers of blackberry, dark chocolate, clove and earthy cedar, with polished tannins and a robust, satisfying finish that carries everything through cleanly and confidently. Drinks beautifully right now and has the structure to keep developing for a decade and beyond.
