Why do we love this wine?
Thirty-year-old vines, grown on clay, giving fruit with real intensity and depth. Fermentation’s temperature-controlled, aged in American oak, which is where a lot of that spicy, fruit-driven character comes from. Blackberry, ripe plum, cocoa and vanilla lead the nose, and the palate follows through round, velvety and harmonious. This is a generous red built for a proper plate of food - grilled meat, something rich, something that can handle a wine with this much going on.
