Why do we love this wine?
The fruit is focused and complete and pure in its expression. The ripe aromatic profile is supported by a bit of gamey decay, some brittle leaves and delicate dried flower. Shapely and full in the mouth - the tannic profile has relaxed a little but still offers structure and a bit of welcome rigidity. Fresh and vibrant and extremely approachable - the 2019 Block X is smack bang in the middle of it’s drinking window
