Why do we love this wine?
Blackberry, dark plum and black cherry on the nose, subtle savoury spice and a touch of earthiness underneath. The mid-palate carries real weight and generosity, while fine tea-leaf-like tannins and that trademark regional earthy spice character keep it from ever feeling flabby. This wine is somehow opulent and generous whilst being energetic and... well, fun. We really enjoyed this Shiraz.

A superb expression of Barossa Shiraz, showing ripe, dark-fruited power. The wine opens with plush blackberry, dark plum and black cherry fruit, layered with savoury spice and subtle earthiness. The palate is generous with a fruit-sweet mid-palate depth giving the wine real presence. There is plenty of ripe black berry fruit, but it is not just about richness; savoury spices, fine tea leaf tannins and regional earthiness bring structure, texture and balance. This drinks with the confidence and completeness of a high-quality Barossa Shiraz: ripe, plush, savoury, structured and deeply satisfying. Vino Masters rating: 96 / 100 ★★★★★ The ideal Shiraz for a chargrilled rib-eye, slow-cooked lamb shoulder, beef short ribs, mushroom ragù or smoky barbecue.
