Deep crimson with an opaque ruby core, this is a compelling and distinguished Barossa blend. Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and ripe plum are layered with cedar, dark chocolate, tobacco leaf and subtle dried herbs. The palate is rich and structured. Cabernet Sauvignon contributes cassis, graphite and a firm line, while Shiraz brings plush dark berries and savoury spice. Fine-grained tannins and bright acidity create impressive balance, carrying through to a long finish of cedar, cocoa and lingering black berry fruits.
