Why do we love this wine?
Frankland River doesn't get nearly the attention it deserves. But wines like this are quietly changing that. Red and blue fruit, warm leather and a lifted violet quality on the nose - fragrant and completely inviting. The palate is medium-weight and beautifully composed, with blood orange acidity cutting through dark cherry, cola and warm spice, all framed by sandy tannins that carry everything through to a fresh, savoury, moreish finish. Compact. Elegant. Just a genuinely great wine to drink.
