Why do we love this wine?
This wine is a celebration of balance - the shiraz brings the depth, the fruit weight, the structure, the real guts of the thing; the viognier lifts the aromatics, adding floral flair and youthful charm. Discernable mulberry, blackberry, plum and violets leaping from the glass, followed by a silky-smooth palate that glides on fine tannins and precision acidity. Halliday threw 95 points its way, and it’s easy to see why. It’s vivid, medium-to-full-bodied, and gloriously drinkable right now, yet layered enough to reward short-term cellaring. Elegant. Expressive. Absolutely unforgettable.
