This winemaker has been growing grapes and making wines before McLaren Vale shiraz was even cool (can you believe there was such a time?!) His name has become synonymous with high-quality fruit and careful, consistent winemaking. Tradition, meets innovation, meets deliciousness. On his way to awarding this beautiful beast 97pts, Ray Jordan waxed lyrical about the complexity, refinement and balanced power of the wine, we tend to agree with Ray on this one - beautifully done. Power, poise, precision and, here's we come in, fantastic value. This is a lot of wine for the price and, as good old Ray noted, will cellar for 15+ years - should you feel the need.
