Why do we love this wine?
It’s all black cherry, peppercorn and plum, with layers of chocolate, aniseed and a little savoury 'umami' aspect to keep things interesting. There’s focus, there’s length, and there’s a whole lot of value here. Fine powdery tannins frame the plush fruit, making it smooth enough to drink now, but structured enough to cellar for 6-8 years if you’ve got the patience. We say grab a few, fire up the BBQ, and watch your guests lose it when you tell them what you paid.
