Why do we love this wine?
This is plummy and plush at its core, with juicy, fresh red and black fruits. That ripeness is framed by finer, grainy tannin that builds on the palate, and some delightfully ripping acidity (that matches the fruit weight without overwhelming it). Beautifully structured shiraz that speaks loudly and proudly of place; this is Heathcote through and through, and we love it for that. Drink some keep some - looking wonderful now but will reward patience.
