The nose is a riot of ripe red cherry, spiced plum, peppermint hints and just a lick of indulgent oak, drawing you straight in. On the palate it’s bold and layered - think loganberry, red currant, juicy blueberry, star anise and a dusting of dark chocolate, with cedar and rhubarb lurking in the background. Structured yet elegant, the tannins are firm but friendly, giving the wine shape while letting the fruit do the talking.
