Why do we love this wine?
Wonderfully textured, the wine is built around a long mineral acidity which carries intensity through the palate. Black pepper, cedar and elegant allspice notes linger throughout the lengthy, linear finish. Matured for 20+ months in new French and new American hogshead barrels - drink it now or dig a hole in your backyard and forget about it. Even with the age this one's already got, you could go another 10 years if you wanted to - we're willing to bet you won't be able to keep your hands off it for that long!
