Why do we love this wine?
Elegant aromatics of cherry and blackberry sit alongside lifted floral notes that continue to entice. For its age, this shiraz still surprises with a youth and exuberance that drives towards a mature palate of coffee grind, cacao and cigar box. The fruit still holds its own and veers towards heady and plump stewed plums and dark cherry. Certainly deserving of every one of its 95 Halliday points.
