Why do we love this wine?
These are wines that were made with an eye to the future. And now we're able to enjoy those labours of the past, and ensure they were not in vain. This has all the trappings of grace and refinement in age; leather and sweet smoke, charcoal (or 'cold campfire' if you want to lose friends at the tasting bench), timber, earth, some meaty savouriness or dry-aged beef, and sun-dried red currants. It is, as are all of the wines in this visionaries range, a masterfully crafted drink that speaks to the skill of its maker.
