Why do we love this wine?
The old vines are really on show here. There is intensity dripping from every layer; the inky, vibrant colour, the powerful fruit, and the complexity of the aromatic and flavour profiles. Punchy and profound on the palate, deep bramble and blackcurrant at the core with lashings of chocolate and coffee. Oak nuance, velvety tannin, and spice sit on the periphery. Not only is it still alive, its still well and truly kicking.
