Why do we love this wine?
Every vine is hand-tended, every bunch sorted by hand before it goes anywhere near a tank. Fermentation happens naturally, no shortcuts on yeast, then it's basket-pressed the old way and settled into first-use, top-shelf French oak barriques. Half the ferment is whole bunch, which is where a lot of that structure and lift comes from. From there it spends seven months resting in second and third-use French oak - enough time to round out, not enough to smother what actually shows up in the glass. This is Pinot made by people who clearly don't believe in doing things the lazy way. What a glass of wine!
