Why do we love this wine?
The fruit came from carefully chosen clones, with vines hand leaf-plucked before veraison to nail airflow and fruit exposure. All winter pruned to keep yields low and flavour high. What you get in the glass is a lifted hit of raspberries, red currants and cranberry, layered with wild bramble and a touch of raspberry cane. The palate is all silk and flow - medium bodied, yet brimming with dark fruit, savoury spice and a brackish, earthy undertone. Complex without being showy. This is the kind of pinot you pour for friends… if you can spare any.
