Why do we love this wine?
Born of 25 year old vines from a single vineyard site in the Kuitpo sub-region of the Adelaide Hills, a little bit of whole-bunch and 25% new French oak for 8 months. The nose offers strawberry and confected raspberry notes with hints of cinnamon and an earthiness that screams Adelaide Hills. All is carried through on the palate with the addition of very fine tannins and an extremely silky mouthfeel. If you want strawberry juice, get strawberry juice. If you want a pinot noir, get this wine.
