Why do we love this wine?
Juicy, lively, absolutely moreish. Bright acidity carries waves of fresh berries and stewed rhubarb, while a kiss of toasty French oak adds just enough sophistication without overwhelming the wine's natural elegance. Fine tannins and a peppery backbone give this relatively light-bodied pinot surprising power and structure. Plump strawberries and tart raspberries working with earthy undergrowth and warm spice. There's a savoury complexity here that hints at of forest floor and wild herbs - this isn't your typical fruit-forward crowd-pleaser. This is pinot with personality.
